I was born in San Rafael on July 22, 1954 at the old San Rafael General Hospital. I am 56-years-old and single. I am a lifelong San Rafael resident currently living in Terra Linda. I graduated from San Rafael High School, class of 1972. At San Rafael I played varsity baseball for two years and was named All-MCAL first team my senior year. I moved on to San Diego State University where I received a BA in Journalism graduating with honors. I played one year of baseball at SDSU but left that career behind when it became apparent that I couldn’t hit the slider. Returning home after college, I took a part time job writing local sports for the Independent Journal. I worked part time for the IJ for more than 20 years as well as a stint at the San Rafael News Pointer. I currently work for the City of San Rafael in the Community Services Department. I have been with the City for more than 15 years, handling adult sports programming, the Marin Juniors Volleyball program, scheduling rentals and classes at the B Street Community Center and scheduling the use of the Albert Park baseball softball facility. As well as serving on the MAF board, I also sit of the hall of fame selection committee.
